There are multiple reasons but first let me share what initiated my interest many years ago.
My first exposure to real estate “investing” was a course I purchased on buying houses nothing down. My mentor at the time said…
“I made lots of money with houses but I came to realize that to reach my financial goals, I needed to shift to multifamily. Multifamily provided bigger numbers in a shorter time period. ”
And that is what launched me to begin with multifamily. My first deal was a small apartment. Hence I skipped single family and went straight to multifamily.
What 1 person can do, another can do. And so can you.
So, as my first mentor did, I encourage you to investigate multifamily – for all of the reasons that I will be sharing.
And as you’ll see, you don’t need big cash to do big deals, you can be a syndicator. As the syndicator, you find the deals and you find the money and you reap the rewards as the deal maker.

We talk a lot about the importance of supportive beliefs as the source of your power.
After all, your beliefs are the filters through which your subconscious interprets the millions of bits of information that hit it daily – maybe hourly. And 96-98% of our responses and reactions are subconscious, automatic and in response to external stimuli.
So we have to be careful which beliefs we nurture. Beliefs are not good or bad or true or false. But they are either supportive or non-supportive to what you want to accomplish in your life. And the beauty is that we can choose our beliefs – really.
Our beliefs establish our identity. And our subconscious will do practically anything to ensure that our external world matches our internal world; our identity – all through our habits. To change your habits, change your beliefs.
Back to my point. How many of you believe you are real estate entrepreneurs? Lots. OK. Good.
How many of you believe that you are a survivor? Show of hands. Usually 75% or more answer Yes. OK. Not so good.
“Wait a minute”, you may say. “I have overcome obstacles my entire life. I can take it. I have proved that nothing can stop me. I am indeed a survivor. Bring it on.” I know many of you are thinking that because I used to think and talk like that.
But let’s dissect why sustaining the belief that you are a survivor is non-supportive. Remember that I said that our subconscious will work automatically to make our inner world match our external world?
Well, if your identity is that you are a survivor, your subconscious must create an external world that matches your internal belief that you are a survivor. And in order to be a survivor, what do you need in your external world? You need adversity, challenge, hardship and strife. You need those so that you can survive them and be congruent with your belief that you are survivor.
So to be congruent, you will attract (through your habits and subconscious actions) adversity, challenge, hardship and strife into your life and your real estate business. Do you see that connection? Is that what you want in your life?
So how do you replace that limiting and non-supportive belief with one that brings you wealth with ease and without struggle? After all, that’s probably what you want – Wealth and Ease.
Well, here’s a new affirmation for you:
I am a money magnet. I attract success. (3 times).
Doesn’t that sound more empowering and supportive? I suggest you add this to your affirmation list and daily mindset minutes. Let that survivor belief wither on the vine.
